Sharp Packaging art related capabilities:
- Artwork we need to scan cannot exceed 8" x 14".
- We can receive 3 1/2" floppies, 3 1/2" optical discs, SyQuest cartridges 44MB, 88MB and 200MB, and zip 100 discs. Please supply any electronic art in Macintosh format.
- Software (Macintosh) can be any of the following: Adobe Acrobat 2.1, Adobe Dimensions 2.0, Adobe Illustrator 7.0, Adobe Photoshop 4.0, Quark XPress 4.0, Freehand 7.0, Stuffit Deluxe 4.0, Adobe PageMaker 6.5.
- We can receive any camera-ready art (as long as it does not exceed 8" x 14").
- The largest negatives we can run out will be 13.6" wide x 80" long, but the largest plates we can make are 24" x 30".
- Color proof dimensions are approximately 12 1/2" x 20".
- We will trap and create bleeds (if desired) on artwork.
- Please supply all fonts with jobs. If fonts are not provided, this may delay artwork while having to wait for them to be sent
- It is best to not supply any artwork that has screens printing over other screens.
- When supplying electronic art, please include a disc print out and a disc information sheet.
- See attached sheet for "do's" and "don'ts" for artwork setup.
- If films or plates are supplied with a screen, make it a 65 line screen. We cannot hold a finer screen than 65 line.
- We need to hold a 5% - 7% minimum dot screens, especially in vignettes and gradients.
- Our minimum trap is 1/32".
- Minimum rule weight is 2 pt.
- UPC's to have .006 Bar Width Reduction.
