Description: Sharp's unique "multiple layer" film provides unique application benefits not available in traditional mono layer film. With outstanding puncture resistance, bags of multi-layer film cost less, especially in bag sizes larger than 5x7, and gauges greater than .0025. This film allows the customer to "down gauge" from conventional LDPE which will yield more bags per roll (less downtime, due to changeover). Less freight costs will be realized and less space is needed to warehouse inventory. Co-extruded films with an HD inner layer allows for scratch resistance and easy loading of glass or rubber parts. These custom films are the future of flexible packaging because the unique layers can be mixed and matched to provide performance and benefits for demanding packaging applications. Film type and layer thickness determine performance.

Description: A transparent electrostatic protective buried metal, heat sealable, flexible structure offering excellent electro-static shielding properties. Sharp ESD bags can be printed or imprinted to eliminate costly labels.

| MAP (Modified Atmospheric Packaging) |
Description: Sharp's "breathable" film for select produce applications is a custom-engineered, 3 layer film which creates a high quality "active package" with impressive oxygen transmission rates (OTR's) of 200 to 600. This film provides outstanding clarity and printability, incomparable durability and package integrity, low seal initiation temperature for high speed V/F/F/S applications, excellent breathability (optimum O2 and CO2 respiration rates). Standard gauges are .002 and .0025. Call us for a sample.
MAP applications:- Cut lettuce, cole slaw, mushrooms, and other select produce.

| Anti-stat |
Description: This film is made using new technology which substantially improves the anti-static characteristics over the previous pink poly films. Its barrier properties allow for fast and complete dissipation of the electrostatic charge and it does not require the presence of humidity for the anti-static properties to function. Humidity independence assures stable, long-term static protection regardless of the climate conditions. It is non-contaminating thru direct contact or out gassing because it does not contain amines. It is non-corrosive to packaged parts because it does not contain moisture attracting ethyloxalated tertiary amines. This film is extremely durable under normal handling, and can be used to manufacture both plain and printed bags. Film is available in tinted colors and is transparent for easy product identification.
Anti-stat applications:- Packaging of static sensitive components or where electrostatic, static dissipative and triboelectric contamination is a problem.

| VCI - Dri-Bag |
Description: This is a special type of packaging film developed to prevent corrosion of ferrous metals without the need for rust preventative coatings. Eliminate the need for expensive and messy greasing/degreasing procedures. VCI - Dri-bags is not a coating, but incorporates a blend of volatile corrosive inhibitors that are an integral component of the film, which through vapor emittance and contact, counteract the corrosive effects of moisture, salt and pollutants. It does not out gas and is free of sodium nitrate. Film is available in tinted colors and is transparent for easy product identification.
VCI applications:- Eliminates the need for expensive and messy greasing/degreasing procedures.
- Ideal for machine parts and tools, bearings, stamping, hardware, engines, valves, precision gauges, and instruments and much more.

| LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) |
Description: LDPE remains the most versatile and lowest cost film for packaging. Clarity is very good, but not comparable to polypropylene. The shelf life values are restricted to a product not sensitive to moisture, oxygen or ultraviolet light.
LDPE applications:- Broad general uses for soft goods, hard goods, any type of clarity packaging.

Description: This multilayer material is very durable. This stiff, strong film, and high haze levels provides moderate clarity and its smooth surface is ideal for printing.
